What TALODI.network is

TALODI.network stands for Tangible Local Distribution Network. The name says what it is for: turning digital designs into tangible objects, made locally, and distributed to the people who need them.

It is our platform initiative. Where 3DPDC sets out the vision, TALODI.network is where that vision is intended to become something people can use: a place where creators, local merchants and delivery partners connect around real orders.

Its guiding direction is simple. Let designs flow through a network, and let physical things be made and delivered closer to where they are used. Digital by nature. Local at heart.

How it relates to 3DPDC

3D Printing & Delivery Corporation Limited (3DPDC) is the corporate home for our vision and partnerships. This website is where we explain what we believe, the direction we are heading in, and how merchants, suppliers, creators and delivery partners can start a conversation with us.

TALODI.network is the separate product destination for the people and businesses who use the platform. Keeping the two apart helps each do its job well: 3DPDC for vision and partnerships, TALODI.network for the platform itself. You can visit it at talodi.network (opens in a new tab).

Who it is for

Creators

Designers and rights holders whose models could be made physically, with their permission. On TALODI.network, purchase is not copyright, and printing a model is intended to require proper authorisation. Read more about our approach to creators and design partners.

Local production

Merchants who provide workspace and hands-on care as service nodes, producing, checking, photographing, packaging and handing over finished pieces. The planned role is explained in Making locally.

Delivery

Delivery people and logistics partners who carry a completed, accepted order from where it was made to where it is needed, as one delivery.

Customers

People who want something made well, nearby, and who value seeing it before it is sent. Customer acceptance of the whole order before delivery is central to the planned experience.

Ideas travel. Opportunity stays local.

Open by design

We do not want TALODI.network to make an industry dependent on a single platform. We support the direction of 3D Printing as a Service built on open protocols, open standards and open access, where participants keep their own brand, their own customers and the freedom to leave.

Open access is not unreviewed access. Participation would still involve appropriate checks on capability, quality and rights, because trust is what makes an open network worth joining. Any claim of interoperability would need to be shown in practice, not simply announced. Read more about open collaboration.

What we are building

TALODI.network is an early platform. Our current work focuses on the foundations: how models are received and checked, how work can be assigned to a local merchant and accepted, and how each step of a planned order journey can be made clear and fair for everyone involved.

Alongside the software, we are thinking carefully about the parts that cannot be rushed: creator rights, quality, materials, responsibilities and honest environmental claims. A first pilot, when the time comes, is intended to start small and local, so lessons can be learned before anything grows.

Made with care, at every step

A platform is only as good as the trust it earns. That is why TALODI.network is designed around visible care rather than speed alone. Models are intended to be checked and prepared before a merchant ever sees them. Every finished piece is intended to be quality-checked and photographed. Customers are intended to accept the whole order before anything is packaged and handed over for delivery.

These steps take time, and we think they are worth it. They give creators confidence that their work is respected, give merchants a clear and fair set of responsibilities, and give customers the chance to see what was made for them before it travels. Shorter journeys, not a promise of instant fulfilment.

Where we are today

We are honest about what is ready. TALODI.network is in early development. Quotes, payment, printing as a service, licensing and delivery are not yet live, and we do not show live inventory, coverage or service availability. There are no signed alliance members or delivery partnerships, and nothing on this page is a promise of instant delivery or guaranteed orders.

What is open now is the conversation. If you are a creator, a local merchant or a delivery partner who wants to help build a network where ideas travel and opportunity stays local, apply to get involved.
